What should I do if I have a dental emergency?
If you have a dental emergency, immediately call our office. If you reach us while we’re open, we’ll fit you into our schedule that same day, so you won’t have to wait and wonder how bad the damage is and be in pain. We’ll examine your mouth and explain all of your treatment options with you. We take pride in providing conservative and accessible dental care, so you won’t have to worry about us trying to sell you unnecessary services.
How often should I change out my toothbrush?
It’s recommended that you change out your toothbrush once every three months, after you’ve gotten over being sick, or if you notice the bristles are beginning to fray. This will prevent bacteria from accumulating and resulting in cavities and sickness.
Should I replace my old metal restoration?
If you have an outdated amalgam filling or metal dental crown that has been causing you discomfort, like dental sensitivity, or has been discoloring your gums or tooth, we can replace it with a safer alternative. We offer tooth-colored, biocompatible cavity fillings that won’t expand and contract within your tooth, minimizing sensitivity. We also offer customized dental crowns that can be crafted from porcelain fused to metal, zirconia, or all-porcelain. Both of these options are more aesthetically-pleasing as well!
How often do I need to visit my dentist?
The American Dental Association, along with our team recommend that every patient one year or older visit our office every six months for a routine checkup and cleaning. These appointments allow us to spot and treat early signs of oral problems before they have a chance to progress and cause permanent damage to your smile.
What should I do if I can’t afford a dental treatment that I need?
If you feel as though you can’t afford treatment and you don’t have dental insurance, you may qualify for our in-house financing. We’re incredibly flexible and want you to receive the treatment you need, so if you have any payment concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us!
